Community is what makes an area flourish. I have lived in this area my entire life and grew up in a locally owned business. I was fortunate to watch my Father operate a successful business because of the people in this area. His success was not online; it was not working for a corporation; it was doing business with like-minded people in the area who showed up to support his small business. DJ’s Coins & Collectibles has been in business for over 25 years, on the same street in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. I have worked there for the last 6 years. It is wonderful to see the same people choose my Dad's company over and over again. I believe he has earned it through his integrity and honesty, qualities that are hard to find on many online shopping platforms. The area we live in has backbones, one of the biggest being our locally owned companies. Northwest Communities' main goal is to ensure that locally owned businesses continue to thrive in this area.
